Our practice is located in a state-of-the-art facility at 10 Members Way, Suite 500 in Dover, NH 03820. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to adult patients. Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team. We are looking for an MA to work 4, 10-hour shifts 7:00am-5:30pm, but we can be flexible with schedules according to a candidate’s availability and preference!This role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.

Essential Functions
-Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
-Show patients to examination rooms and prepare necessary equipment for healthcare providers.
-Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
-Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms. Acts as a liaison with other departments and advocates for patients with a positive customer service approach.
-Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.
-Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean and supplies stocked.
-Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
Experience
Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Comply with all local, state, and federal privacy and confidentiality rules and regulations.
