About the role
- Serve as the Lead Project Manager in support of Enterprise Web Services supporting the government customer
- Serve as the lead IT Project integrator determining user demands, establishing work priorities, and planning, directing, and monitoring project work through all phases of an initiative
- Employ multiple different project frameworks as required to meet customer requirements
- Support Information Systems-related business planning requirements, including but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, and workload planning
- Maintain project issues and reports to Information Systems management and local steering teams on the progress of critical path items
- Report project status and accomplishments to all stakeholders including internally, matrixed resources, and to the customer
- Gather and evaluate information concerning a user's conceptual needs to estimate and schedule project activities and associated costs
- Coordinate and participate in analysis/design/coding activities
- Ensure that system changes are fully tested and users are fully trained and prepared
- Meet associated guideline and procedure requirements, and coordinate implementation of the changes
- Follow PMO methodology and processes to lead and manage projects end-to-end
- Create and manage project scope, resources, and budget to include project Charter documentation, Project Plan, Budget Tracker, RACI and Weekly Status Reports
- Analyze and understand business requirements, vendor statements of work, and other requirement documents to clearly outline project artifacts
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality in deliverables, implementation, and customer experience
- Manage complex, enterprise-level projects with minimal oversight
- Bring the right leadership, resources, vendors, and stakeholders together to organize and facilitate project kick-offs
- Work across the contract to assist on adjacent IT Project efforts leveraging relationships and support agreement
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Associates in Mechanical and Electrical Technologies, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field required
- Master of Business Administration preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Experience:
- 6+ years of relevant DoD associated project management or related experience
- Experience as a project manager implementing the agile framework.
- Demonstrable understanding of and experience with CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) oversight
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
- Experience with Earned Value Management & Control Account Oversight
- DoD & Missile Defense Program Leadership experience preferred
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $140,000 - 160,000
