The Principal Product Manager for Worldwide Prime 3P Benefits will lead a team of product managers and engineers to accelerate our transformation in the four pillars above, through a strategic global portfolio of external partnerships. You will work backwards from the customer to identify opportunities to save Prime members money, simplify or enhance experiences, and provide exclusive access to products and services. You will work with our Business Development teams to craft mutually beneficial agreements with partners that provide value across multiple Amazon businesses. You will need strong business judgment to identify and articulate the value of deals to drive Prime’s business outcomes, and the outstanding communication skills to advocate and pitch your ideas to cross functional stakeholders. Key job responsibilities include:
• Drive senior leadership alignment on worldwide strategy for how external partners can accelerate Prime’s growth.
• Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities worldwide based on customer needs and partner ambitions.
• Lead collaborative experience design sessions with stakeholders to develop breakthrough propositions.
• Work with Business Development to model financial impacts and negotiate deal terms
• Oversee the launch of new initiatives, maintaining executive engagement and unblocking issues as needed.
• Track performance of new initiatives, optimize offer discovery and engagement, and feed learnings into new deals.
• Guide, coach, and develop product managers and engineers to execute on their charter.
The right candidate for this role will have a proven track record of customer obsession in identifying, prioritizing, and shaping trajectory-bending value propositions. They will need strong ownership instincts to align multiple internal and external cross functional stakeholders towards common goals. They will need to think big and deliver disproportionate impact through unique partnerships.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Strong bias for action and ownership including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in technology business development, investment banking, corporate strategy, or consulting.
- ‘First chair’ negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships.
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- High judgement and ability to operate in an ambiguous environment.
- Hands-on approach and creative thinker that can build products that will be improving the customer experience.
- Understanding of international dynamics/experience in a global team.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compens
