As our team leader transport planning HVC you, along with the senior team lead, are responsible for the supervision, preparation, and guidance of all logistics activities within our high-value cargo team. How do you do this? The job title might give it away. As team leader transport planning HVC, you ensure that your team members are empowered. On the one hand, you are the go-to person for the department, and on the other hand, you occasionally roll up your sleeves and work alongside them. In short, you ensure a good workload distribution and a positive working atmosphere in the department. Ultimately, this should result in satisfied customers, both internally and externally. You achieve this by:
•    planning tasks, ensuring an efficient workflow, and maintaining proper staffing;
•    managing and checking financial flows;
•    utilizing our TAPA-certified fleet and advanced GPS technology to secure shipments;
•    real-time monitoring of shipments and proactively addressing any security challenges;
•    operational involvement in the department and assisting where needed.

You bring

•    passion for the profession, supplemented with experience in the transport sector, preferably with high-value cargo and TAPA certification;
•    some experience in a leadership role, such as a senior transport planner, assistant team leader, or similar;
•    good communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to see the bigger picture;
•    proficiency in Dutch, German, and English.
