Product Policy Manager - Child Safety, Exploitation & Abuse - Trust and Safety

As a Product Policy Manager on TikTok’s Trust & Safety team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and driving enforcement strategies that protect some of the platform’s most vulnerable users. You will focus on identifying, preventing, and addressing high-risk behaviors and harmful content, ensuring swift and effective enforcement aligned with TikTok’s commitment to a safe and trusted community. You will apply deep knowledge of model policy frameworks and enforcement workflows to inform scalable and consistent enforcement approaches. Leveraging automation and data-driven insights, you will help strengthen detection, escalation, and resolution processes across video content on a global scale. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong expertise in online safety enforcement, and the ability to navigate complex, evolving challenges in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

- Monitor and track enforcement performance against key metrics to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

- Analyze data and translate insights into clear, actionable enforcement strategies for cross-functional teams.

- Identify, prioritize, and implement strategies to reduce the presence of potentially harmful content on the platform.

- Develop enforcement signals and refine moderation strategies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

- Design and advance proactive and reactive enforcement methodologies that extend beyond human moderation, collaborating with product teams to enhance automated model enforcement.

- Review graphic and potentially offensive video content to ensure policy compliance.

- Evaluate and improve training materials, while advocating for necessary tooling and technology enhancements to support enforcement efforts.

- Collaborate with policy, product, engineering, research, operations, legal, and public relations teams to innovate and evolve safety strategies, leveraging the latest industry developments and best practices.
