The Opportunity 

Flock Safety is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Salesforce Administrator to join our fast-growing Salesforce Engineering team. In this role, you’ll be the frontline of our Salesforce support operations - owning the Salesforce Tier 1 Helpdesk queue, helping teams across the company stay efficient and effective by solving issues and improving workflows.

Beyond support, you'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with our admin and QA teams on projects that enhance platform stability, user experience, and operational transparency. This is a fantastic role for someone with at least one year of hands-on Salesforce experience who’s eager to deepen their knowledge, contribute to meaningful work, and grow within a dynamic, mission-driven company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Tier 1 SFDC Helpdesk queue, providing technical support and training to Salesforce end users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating training sessions as needed.

  • Own Onboarding, Setup and Offboarding of new users

  • Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.

  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards.

  • Some development, testing, including custom objects, fields, and validation rules.

  • Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and updates, and proactively recommend enhancements to maximize platform effectiveness.

  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations.

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

The Skillset 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally in a fast-paced setting with prior experience supporting internal end users through a high-volume ticketing system.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Good understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration, including but not limited to workflows, validation rules, and custom objects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.

  • Previous experience or familiarity with QA is a plus.
