Job Description

The role is crucial for consolidating both budgeted and actual revenue, along with variance analysis, submission of cost of volumes and support for Data Processing revenue (DPF). The responsibilities also include assistance in posting FANF, TIF and SIF.

The role will report to Revenue Consolidation Lead with the expectation to being focused on revenue consolidation and DPF reporting. The candidate will be a key member of the highly visible NA Revenue FPA team and collaborate across a matrixed organization focusing on actualizing, delivering month-end reporting, support budgeting, forecasting, and improving financial models.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead month-end activities. Analyze monthly and quarterly results, identify and interpret key variances, trends, and insights, present key findings to management
  • Contribute to Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting activities within the scope in line with regional and global requirements
  • Combine observed patterns and trends and create accurate forecasts, able to triangulate and exercise judgement.
  • Learn and understand Visa’s financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
  • Contribute to ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly analysis of Market and Client trends to be used by all supported departments for Executive reviews
  • Evaluate existing models and seek opportunities to introduce new tools and identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies (i.e. Self-serve dashboards)
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a broad base of stakeholders (i.e. Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.)
  • The role is responsible for Data Processing Fees submission

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
· 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
· 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
· Foundational understanding of multi-party economic model (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.) and performance measurement and reporting
· Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analytics
· Converts complex analyses into revealing business storylines
· High proficiency in Excel with demonstrated ability to improve processes via automation and end-to-end efficiencies, additional experience with a complex financial system (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau, PowerBI) a plus
· Ability to effectively work independently and collaborate as part of a cross-functional, global and matrixed team
· Highly detail oriented with excellent planning and time management skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
