Press Assistant / Feeder Person

**3rd Shift Opening**
Serigraph is in search of a Press Assistant (Feeder Person) responsible for preparing the feeder for the offset press and supporting various tasks as directed by the Press Operator.

Press Assistant / Feeder Person Responsibilities -

• Set up the offset color press as per job ticket specifications.
• Under the guidance of the press operator, fill ink fountains.
• Prepare and load feeder with suitable stock.
• Adjust paper guides, suckers, and feeder head.
• Continuously monitor paper feed and travel, making necessary adjustments during production.
• Monitor print sheet quality, promptly identifying and rectifying issues.
• Regularly check and manage conductivity and alcohol levels.
• Execute press clean-up duties and maintain press integrity.
• Support other presses when required.
• Maintain production quality by halting operations to address concerns and promptly report all quality issues to management.

What we are looking for in a Press Assistant / Feeder Person -

• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret work instructions accurately, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively.
• Perform other duties under the direction of the press operator.
• Execute custodial responsibilities within the work area. Support in the training of new assistants/feeder persons, vocational students, and apprentices. Complete additional tasks as directed by the press operator.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. We value the foundational education and skills that it represents as a minimum qualification for this role.
