<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Our Site Reliability Engineers are responsible for designing, building and scaling core systems that support our mobility applications running in production. They are versatile technologists who have a lot of experience up and down the stack and are comfortable tuning the Linux kernel, automating cloud infrastructure, writing resilient and high-performance code or scaling large distributed systems. With the challenge of delivering the best customer experience in their hands, our site reliability teams are constantly looking to optimise our service resiliency, availability and performance using cutting edge technology.</p><p><br/> <strong>DO WHAT YOU LOVE:</strong></p><ul><li>With your technical excellence of cloud principles and technologies - You are evaluating, designing, implementing, but also improving our AWS Platform Services</li><li>You have a DevOps mindset, and you are eager to evangelize “You build it you own it” with deep conviction.</li><li>Collaborate on decisions towards programmatic integration of systems and processes.</li><li>You will dig deep and find the root cause of any issue.</li><li>You will participate in on-call rotations and be available for escalations.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>COME AS YOU ARE:</strong></p><ul><li>8 years of deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, microservice architectures and security best practices.</li><li>You have used tools like terraform, Puppet, Chef, Salt or Ansible for configuration management.</li><li>Experience leading complex initiatives to constantly improve our Platform Services for our Developers</li><li>You are a team player who values sharing and collaboration over solo playing</li><li>Proficient in AWS services like EKS, RDS, Open Search, etc..</li><li>Monitoring and observability experience with high proficiency</li><li>Highly proficient in spoken and written English.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Working at SIXT not only means creating the future of mobility, but also offers personal benefits.
