Job Description

Amcor is currently searching for individuals to join our Batavia production plant!

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

Training hours: typically 7am-3pm

Posting training, 12hr 4-3 schedule Straight Nights

PAY:

The starting rate of pay for this position is $32.65 /hr + $2 shift premium

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for effectively troubleshooting, resolving and maintaining equipment that includes but is not limited to flexographic presses, extruder/laminators, and slitters as well as providing general plant maintenance.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

· Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.

· Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.

· Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.

· Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
