Major Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Develop and implement social media campaigns, use appropriate tools to measure the success of each campaign, and make necessary adjustments based on results.
Develop a social media content calendar for the service area
Provide social media communications in collaboration with other office staff members on crisis communication issues.
Keep informed of the latest social media best practices and technologies and implement them when appropriate.
Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff offices on campus to offer social media counsel to help them maximize their social media effectiveness.
Assist with developing social media channels, especially Facebook and Instagram, for the Fort Wayne/Warsaw campus.
Assist with strategy, content development, and responsiveness related to the Fort Wayne service area social media channels.
Assist with organizing, filming, and editing video materials for the campus.
Assist campus departments in promotional, recruitment, retention, and development efforts.
Website Management:
Maintain and update Fort Wayne and Warsaw website content, including landing pages and Qualtrics surveys for marketing initiatives.
Create and implement a process for maintaining an accurate website and creating landing pages as needed.
No web editing experience required, but it is a bonus.
Partner Marketing Agency Liaison:
Serve as a liaison to our marketing agency partner and help manage our high-dollar annual advertising buy.
Assist with strategy and content development for our annual advertising spends, which include working with our designated agency, identifying avenues of opportunity for digital and traditional advertising, and evaluating sponsorship requests.
Coordinate campus-specific campaigns to work concurrently with our advertising agencies including personalized digital displays, billboards, and paid social media ads.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Social Media Management, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Liberal Arts, or equivalent experience.
- One to three years of related professional work experience with social media strategy and development.
- Experience with social media content creation.
- Ability to foresee, minimize/mitigate, and respond to social media situations.
- Ability to take initiative, think critically, problem-solve, and approach projects with a strategy in mind related to a target audience and a desired outcome.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines on time and with accuracy.
- Efficiently work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to listen attentively to details.
