Position Summary...
What you'll do...
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The Trade Compliance Strategy Manager is instrumental in driving system enhancements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing processes to support our global trade compliance objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management, technical collaboration, and strategic thinking skills to navigate the complex landscape of trade regulations and business needs.
What youll do.
Manage Projects
Lead projects for new system implementations and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring alignment with trade compliance requirements and business objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables while managing stakeholders across various teams.
Collaborate with Technical Teams
Act as a liaison between internal and external technology teams, clearly articulating business needs and translating them into system requirements.
Work closely with 3rd-party vendors to evaluate solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful project execution.
Development Regulatory Strategy
Monitor changes in the global trade regulatory environment and proactively develop strategies to address new trade regulation policies.
Partner with internal stakeholders to implement compliance solutions that align with organizational goals.
Optimize Processes
Identify opportunities to streamline existing trade compliance processes, driving efficiency and reducing operational risks.
Ensure process improvements are effectively communicated, documented, and implemented across teams.
Build Standard Operating Procedures
Develop comprehensive standard operating procedures and documentation for both existing and new processes, ensuring accessibility and usability for relevant stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of trade compliance systems, policies, and enhancements.
Develop Data Analysis and Metrics
Build and maintain complex metrics and analytics dashboards to provide actionable insights to the business.
Utilize data to support decision-making processes and improve compliance performance across the organization.
