CIB Technology is the backbone of the CIB businesses of Global Markets, Transactional Banking, Investment Banking and Real Estate. The intense, high-pressured environment of Global Markets and Transactional Banking makes partnering with these areas particularly exciting, as the technology we support facilitates the multi-million rand transactions conducted by these businesses.</p><p>Our graduate programme blends theoretical learning of hard and soft skills with practical experience. Through a number of rotations, you are exposed to the full life lifecycle of the CIB Technology business, from application and technology architecture through the disciplines of analysis, design, build and testing of systems to the operation, maintenance and support of live production environments. Upon completion of the programme, you will have the necessary experience to kick-start your career and identify your first home in CIB Technology, a place where you can contribute to the broader success of Standard Bank Group.</p><p>CIB Technology supports a technology landscape that services non-retail customers which include Banks, institutions, corporates and asset managers to name a few and facilities many different types of transactions; from high frequency trading (Algorithmic trading) with low values to low frequency trading high value payments to complex structured products.</p><p>We work on almost all technologies and we are encouraged to be on the cutting edge to give our business an advantage.
