Swedish Medical Center is currently seeking an Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who is passionate about the neurological population at the Cherry Hill Campus in acute care.
Cherry Hill specializes in patients with complex neurological and cardiac diagnoses. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice guidelines for occupational therapists, and current accepted state of the art treatment techniques.
In this position you will:
Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
Implement and make appropriate adjustments to the treatment plans.
Reassess treatment results and provide discharge recommendations.
Candidates will need to possess a passion for the neurological population.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.) delivers services upon referral and under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist to maximize functional outcomes. The COTA actively participates in discharge planning, implements the treatment program and communicates the patient response. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, the patient and their significant others. These services are delivered in compliance with Swedish Medical Center standards, national professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
