The hourly rate for this role is $23.00/hour.
Job Description
A Warehouse Associate at Rabbit Hole Spirits directly reports to the Warehouse Supervisor of the company. He/she is responsible for executing daily warehouse functions in a safe and efficient manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of barrel trucks
- Filling and labeling of barrels
- Pulling samples from barrel inventory
- Locating and staging barrels that are to be dumped or transferred
- Maintain a daily safety inspection of forklift
- Supply accurate barrel transfer information to Warehouse Supervisor to generate paperwork
- Assist drivers accessing loading bays at the distillery and/or Henry County campus
- Maintain the proper functioning and safe operations of all warehouse tools and equipment
- Assuring containment ponds are drained properly as needed
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Requirements
A Warehouse Associate must have the ability to work safely and efficiently. They must also possess an extensive understanding of several disciplines common in a warehouse setting. Such as barrel handling, barrel repair, barrel ricking, and barrel filling/dumping. The ability to work well with others in a team setting will be vital for success in this role.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Ability to operate a forklift and box truck
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to follow direction in a fast-paced environment
- Work in non-climate-controlled environments and outdoors as needed
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Can periodically lift and lower 125lbs empty barrels
- Can roll and handle 500lbs filled barrels
- Ability to perform repetitive work actions
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Distillery experience preferred
