Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Security

Technical Program Managers work at the intersection between technical execution and business strategy and are expected to partner closely with Business, Engineering and Product teams. Being a TPM at Meta means driving impact by delivering measurable results across a wide range of areas. You'll be responsible for defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps and monitoring and communicating progress, and defining functional requirements for new products and features. It also means having a technical infrastructure background, understanding system architecture, and the experience to effectively collaborate across functions and organization to deliver impact.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to support security and compliance programs across Meta’s network infrastructure. This role will focus on leading cross-functional teams working on managing security and regulatory compliance requirements related to our subsea networks.Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure Security Responsibilities

• Drive alignments among program teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders within regulatory compliance domains to define program requirements, set priorities, and defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with
• Translate privacy, legal, and compliance requirements into security and compliance designs, supporting process frameworks, task and reporting automation, and their respective technical implementation plans
• Influence engineering and facilities decisions to align with security and compliance goals
• Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
• Effectively manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases
• Define and track key metrics and performance indicators and drive cross-functional execution of program deliverables
• Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders
• Drive internal and external process improvements and automation solutions across multiple teams and functions to increase efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 7 + years of experience of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience
• Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery
• Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
• Experience operating independently across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
• Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
• Organizational coordination experience and experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
• Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting programs in support of subsea cable systems and infrastructure
• Experience translating security and compliance requirements into effective process controls, automation solutions, and audit-ready evidence
