JOB SUMMARY
The Electrician Intern will gain hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance setting,
assisting licensed electricians with basic tasks while observing and learning how electrical
systems are installed and maintained. This role is ideal for students or individuals exploring
a career in the electrical field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Perform hands-on tasks such as preparing work areas, organizing tools,
running wire, and assisting with basic electrical installations or repairs.
· Observe safety practices and assist with maintaining a clean and safe work
environment.
· Shadow experienced electricians to understand equipment maintenance and
electrical diagnostics.
· Follow instructions and complete assignments as directed by supervisors or
licensed electricians.
· Participate in training sessions and safety meetings.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying
environmental conditions (e.g., heat, dust, noise).
· Requires manual dexterity for using tools and visual acuity for detailed
electrical work.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
· Currently enrolled in or recently completed a high school or trade
program focused on electrical or industrial technology.
· Strong interest in the electrical trade and willingness to learn.
· Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
· Ability to follow instructions and safely handle tools.
