A Day in the Life

Seeking a candidate to join the Global Corporate Services Sourcing team for a Travel & Expense special project. The candidate will work on a high visibility project supporting analytics for cost savings projects within Travel & Expense.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to review large sets of data, pull out cost savings ideas, create an execution plan and track progress to goals. The candidate will be curious, detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative and a self-starter.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Leverage Travel & Expense datasets to find opportunities to drive savings through policy compliance, negotiations, demand management, and more.
• Partner with Travel program SMEs and on how savings ideas could be implemented.
• Share savings initiatives with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and enhance execution plan.
• Act as project manager for savings initiatives, presenting updates to cross-functional team and leadership.
• Support communication of changes to employee base.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements                 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

 
Nice to Have

• Solid understanding of supply management, supply chain, purchasing, and quality processes
• Proficiency in data analytics concepts and tools
• Strong project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences across all organizational level.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$104,800.00 - $157,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
