Raytheon Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Senior Program Manager (PM) to lead program oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the production programs within Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS). The selected candidate will be responsible for leading an experienced team including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, Finance, and Contracts to execute programs with discipline and urgency while maintaining a strong partnering relationship with the customer.
This role is onsite in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do
- Meet contractual commitments including the financial, quality, cost efficiency, technical and schedule performance
- Develop partnerships with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Operations & Supply Chain, Quality, etc.)
- Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer
- Monitor, interact and course correct teams to support customer goals
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the customer counterparts
- Establish and execute baseline schedule, negotiating and executing change requirements
- Execute daily PM cadence (battle rhythm) such as risk review boards, schedule performance management, customer reviews, program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments
- Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Experience in program and/or project management; or as an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), or Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Supplier management experience
- Experience supporting production programs
- Experience leading proposal activity
- Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, or similar business processes
Qualifications We Prefer
- Program Management Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain within one year
- Demonstrated results creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
- Experience developing and implementing execution, coordination, and growth strategies for franchise programs
- Experience working oversight and monitoring of supplier performance; develop preventive and corrective actions as necessary
- Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
