  • Estimated annual base pay:  $152,800 (minimum) - $191,000 (midpoint) - $229,200 (maximum)

 Are you ready to make your mark? If you are a Sr. Manager of Finance, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The Supply Chain Senior Finance Manager helps lead Woodward’s supply chain financial activities by partnering with the Business Segment Supply Chain Vice President to drive continuous performance on key cost and productivity metrics including material cost, logistic costs, efficiency, working capital/inventory management, and total cost of ownership along the entire supply chain. He/she will have a strong dotted line to the Supply Chain Vice President and report functionally (solid line) to the Industrial Segment Unit CFO. Through analysis and recommendations, this role will have a meaningful impact on business performance, and over time will establish standard processes, and strength financial internal controls. The Supply Chain Senior Finance Manager will work with the supply chain teams and cross functionally across the organization with frequent interactions with the manufacturing plants and the global finance organization to help us shape strategic decisions.

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Partner with Industrial Supply Chain Vice President and Inventory Material Director to identify and facilitate the implementation of strategic initiatives to deliver productivity targets and inventory reduction targets.

  • Implement material price tracking and forecasting process. Drive accountability and implement accurate and timely reporting of project savings. Proactively work with the team to develop action plans to close any gaps vs the savings target and deliver the budget.

  • Complete financial analysis of material cost inflation/deflation to identify trends and cost drivers as well as risk and opportunities (by supplier, by commodity type, by product line)

  • Work closely with Industrial plant finance managers to track overall COGS productivity on input costs (both material and labor productivity)

  • Play a key role in S&IOP planning as part of monthly integrated business planning process.

  • Demonstrate ownership of inventory metrics across all plants within the Industrial system. Work with the inventory team to validate and quantify the impact of inventory reduction initiatives and drive actions to achieve targets.

  • Implement inventory tracking and forecasting process and drive improvement in inventory turns and cash flow.
