We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Program Director to join our team in Rohnert Park, CA. As the APD, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of the individuals we serve. You will support our team in creating engaging, meaningful programs designed to promote independence, community involvement, and skill-building.

Full Range Scale: $27.00 - $30.10 per hour. (The rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location.)

Job Description
The Assistant Program Director is responsible for supporting the operations of the Rohnert Park Day Services Program. As the APD, you’ll be the right-hand person to the Program Director, helping to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant day program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspiring and Leading: Ensuring high-quality services while mentoring a growing team of direct support professionals (DSP’s) and creating a positive, growth-oriented environment.
- Building Community Connections: Develop partnerships with local organizations to provide individuals with real-world opportunities to volunteer, engage, and learn life skills.
- Crafting Creative Programs: Design and manage workshops and activities that promote independence and build skills.
- Keeping Things Running Smoothly: Manage schedules, assist with staff training, oversee transportation, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Acting as a Champion: Advocate for the well-being and independence of those we support, working closely with families, case managers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Who We're Looking For
- A Natural Leader: With at least 1 year of supervisory experience, a knack for motivating teams, plus strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Experienced in Human Services: With 2+ years in the Human Services field (psychology, mental health, or community development is a big plus!).
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we value experience and passion in lieu of a degree.
- A Creative Problem-Solver: Ready to think outside the box, build partnerships and relationships, and overcome challenges.
- Growth-Oriented: Excited about professional development and eager to foster independence for the individuals we support.
- Resilient and Positive: Comfortable working with individuals with moderate to high behavioral challenges.
- You are excited to work in a community-oriented environment.
- Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
