EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy (EcoLabs) invites applications for the position of Project Officer/Research Engineer/Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
Working as part of the sustainability team, liaising with both clients and partners to deliver quality ESG and sustainability services
Involved in ESG and sustainability consultancy projects which could include, but are not limited to developing carbon assessment, ESG reports, life cycle assessments, carbon assessment platform and other related deliverables
Assist in analyzing and interpreting ESG and carbon related data for all ESG and sustainability projects
Support for business development to further expand the team’s ESG and sustainability related services
Conduct relevant market research on key ESG and sustainability trends
Support for capability building activities like training sessions or workshops on ESG and sustainability
Work with developers to enhance features of the in-house carbon and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) platforms
Update the carbon-related database of all platforms regularly
Job Requirements:
Master or Bachelor degree, in engineering, science, business, environmental science or any relevant field.
Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in the area of sustainability or ESG.
Entry level candidates with strong sustainability and ESG backgrounds, are welcome to apply.
Prefer to be knowledgeable on different ESG/sustainability accounting and reporting frameworks/standards
Familiarity with the concept or knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) would be advantageous
Strong quantitative analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills
Professional certifications in sustainability or ESG would be a plus
