Overview
The Inside Sales Specialist will direct sales of the Company’s Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), and provide Technical Support to ART accounts. Support Internal departments initiatives as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to direct product development and Marketing activities. Provide support to upstream and downstream marketing activities

Responsibilities
- Requires 100% phone sales calls in managed areas.
- Managing phone contact with customers to develop, maintain, and expand existing business in the territory following specific phone call rotations within all US accounts.
- Provide feedback to inside personnel, Sales Management and Marketing Department on changes in the marketplace or competitive trends and additional information.
- Cold calls to qualify sales leads and generate new business.
- Following up with customer requests for additional information, quotes, or product samples, meeting accounts specific needs as requests.
- Must be well organized managing all administrative duties and product requests within these Base and Universe accounts.
- Development of promotional ideas and activities in the given territory to assure profitable growth.
- Communicate ideas for new products based on customer input and suggestions to internal teams.
- Responsible for documenting of all sales related activities including sales calls, pertinent account and contact activities, account profiles in Sales Force reporting program, call plans, expense reporting and travel logistics.
- Responsible for working within the expense guidelines.
- Must work with company Technical Application Scientist setting up and conducting product evaluations within accounts as determined by the TAS.
- Qualify leads in Sales Force by forwarding onto appropriate territory manager or following up on lead request.
- All Sales activities must be marked in Salesforce.
- Significant impact on the sales and marketing of products assigned in assigned accounts.
- Has authority to quote prices for catalog-listed products based on volume purchased by customer, to the target price outlined on schedule approved by management.
- Responsible for money allocated through sales and expense budgets.
- Marketing (Product Managers and Staff) regarding customer requirements related to products and technical information; Customer Service regarding customer order requirements and R&D regarding new product interest and setting forums for technical presentations and opportunities for visits to specific customers.
- Extensive phone sales with customers, both existing and new, to promote growth of portfolio of products.
Required Skills/Education
- B. S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related life science
- Proficient in Salesforce
Desired Skills
- ART Background in sales or off the bench (Embryologist)
- Phone only sales or account management
- Outside sales prior and wants to be inside sales
Salary and Benefits
- $65,000 - $105,00 depending on experience
