Job Summary:
The Director, Patient Marketing will report directly to the Head of Marketing and will help develop and execute brand strategy, as well as work with cross-functional stakeholders to support the success of PYLARIFY, as well as broader PSMA PET efforts. The leader will be focused on brand management for Consumer efforts: lead key initiatives with cross-functional input to identify market needs and competitive opportunities, develop strategies to address identified needs and opportunities, and measure the impact of marketing strategies. This role will work across and beyond the organization to ensure stakeholder needs and perspectives are integrated into the stages of the brand plan.
Strong leadership, strategy and analytical skills are required for the Director to set a vision, remain agile as internal and external needs change, and drive performance within a fast-moving, challenging, and dynamic commercial environment. The leader will need to understand the competitive landscape, align with the broader prostate cancer franchise strategies, and customize both branded and disease education (DSE) approaches for our prostate cancer patient population. This position requires strong in-line leadership as well as the ability to influence and engage across the organization (e.g., Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Contracting, etc.). The role will not only ensure the success of PYLARIFY by leading new and innovative marketing approaches that create value for patients and the company, but also lead the planning and execution of effective marketing initiatives that differentiate PYLARIFY within the PSMA PET space.
The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for instilling our company’s cultural values, as well as be influential in recruiting, retaining and developing talent to deliver better patient outcomes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- With Head of Marketing, lead development and execution of strategic and annual business plan for the brand to exceed business objectives, driving best-in-class marketing practices applicable to DSE, Patient and Caregiver audiences.
- Conduct market analyses to create, implement and update strategic plans and performance objectives as appropriate; anticipate market trends; and ensure execution of plans to activate patients in a way that achieves revenue, growth, and profitability goals.
- Identify effective messages and channels to communicate brand’s core value story, deepen the understanding of the PSMA PET market for broader Consumer audiences, and elevate the overall patient experience.
- Manage the Patient Ambassador Program, as well as elevate the patient and caregiver perspective to ensure a patient-centric approach to the brand.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners and Head of Marketing to create and maintain measurement plans and end-to-end KPIs.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure brand strategy and tactics are executed and pulled through via regional and national sales meetings; contribute to training content to support brand growth.
