Crop Department Laborer (Farm Hand) - Field Equipment Operator

Our Crop/Agricultural department is looking for experience farm hand and field equipment operators to join our team at the Centre Hall PA location.

Responsible for developing skills to operate and repair all equipment involved in the farm operation, waste disposal and custom harvesting.

Flexible 1st shift hours.

Performs all phases of agricultural field work.

Operates planting, harvesting, tillage and pesticide application equipment and machinery.

Performs general maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, buildings, and facilities.

Applies registered use pesticides

Assists with spreading waste.

Adheres to common safety practices and procedures.

Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality polices and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to:  GMP’s,

Must hold a valid PA Operators/Drivers License

Farming and maintenance experience

The qualified candidate will have the ability to attend work predictably and regularly and be punctual, have the ability to read and understand documents, drawings and instructions, work cooperatively with others, perform several tasks at once, ability to follow instruction etc.
