About the role
Our Teams are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Design Intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge backplane design projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for AR displays.

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. - Implement and develop array designs in <22nm tech nodes for AR backplanes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of analog and digital circuits and system arrays.
- Design and simulate digital and analog designs (e.g.: pixel circuits, etc.) using Verilog and other design tools.
- Document design decisions and trade-offs
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronics in VLSI arrays
- Knowledge of Python, Matlab and Spice
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Tapeout experience in ≤50nm tech nodes (TSMC2216nm, gf22fdx(+), etc.)
- Familiarity with netlist manipulations and troubleshooting large designs
- Intent to return to the degree program after the completion of the internship.
