$18.65 - $26.11The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:Types correspondence, reports, and other materials. Conducts information retrieval and data entry. Compiles, organizes, and maintains records of business transactions. Maintains moderately complex indexes and files. Opens, sorts and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and prepare outgoing mail. Maintains and update filing, inventory, mailing and database systems. Operates office machines such as photocopiers and scanners, voice mail systems and personal computers. Completes and mails bills, contracts, policies, invoices and checks. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities. Answers phones, direct calls and take messages. Often provides work direction to lower level support employees.Responsibilities THIS POSITION IS PREDOMINATELY REMOTE BUT WILL REQUIRE IN-PERSON AS NEEDED. GENERAL PURPOSE: This position will work closely with the Genesee Staff Council (GSC) Co-chairs and committees to understand all committee goals, communicate status updates between parties, and coordinate follow up with and among appropriate leaders and council members to keep projects on schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES: Meeting Facilitation: Assists with schedule for full council meetings, executive committee meetings and meetings between council members and external council partners, such as senior leadership. Coordinates and disseminates meeting agendas, meeting minutes and follow up on action items and deliverables, from both the council members and council partners. Provides logistical support for all meetings, including preparation of materials, arranging meeting facilities, catering, parking, and AV Support. Process Coordination: Coordinates administrative tasks relating to elections; including the preparation and distribution of nomination forms and election ballots for all on- and off-cycle elections; works with Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to verify nominees┐ eligibility to serve; communicates nomination progress to GSC Executive Committee; and reports election results to the Council. Distributes, collects and compiles survey tools and results, as needed. Responsible for ensuring all updates to the GSC bylaws are maintained appropriately. Assists with the coordination of GSC Engagement events, working with the Engagement committee to draft communications, create a sign-up process, and manage all logistics for the event Communication: Manages GSC email correspondence and GSC feedback submissions. Tracks projects to completion; including maintaining action items lists; corresponding with Senior Leadership and Council members for status updates; and communicating needs and deadlines to all involved. Manages all distribution/LISTSERV and other communication channels. Office Operations: Handles GSC purchasing needs and financial transactions. Edits and publishes content for the GSC website, as needed. Organizes and standardizes all documents and materials in one central location (Teams). Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience required. Previous experience working with organizational interest groups or volunteer/non-profit organizations preferred. Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to interact effectively with senior administrators, faculty and staff required. Strong communication skills (oral and written) required. High proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
