QA Technician - Blakely, GA
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sample in-process and finished product. Perform inspection of product packaging.
- Perform all specified tests related to in-process and finished product, including HACCP monitoring.
- Analyze, record and report all pertinent information in a consistent and precise manner. Complete all pertinent paperwork in a timely manner and submit it to the appropriate person. Maintain a line of communication with the plant supervisors to keep them informed of incoming data and notifying them of any problems.
- Ensure that all laboratory and laboratory-related equipment is properly used and maintained. Perform facility inspections to ensure compliance to GMPs and other designated issues.
- Ask questions when you don’t understand the instructions or expectations of your supervisor. Execute special projects and other job-related activity as needed.
- The hours for this position may vary.
- Ensure job duties are conducted to meet compliance with BRC Food Safety & Quality.
- This role description is not all inclusive. Your role is to support all other functions within the GPC organization.
- Keep the lab clean and orderly at all times.
- Clean and/or maintain all areas assigned to you on the sanitation schedule.
- Clean in other areas throughout the facility as assigned.
- Follow all established safety rules as defined in the facility and corporate safety programs, including those pertaining to personal protective equipment and to the lock -out tag-out program.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay for this position is expected to be:
$16.50hr + $1.00 shift differential
