JOB SUMMARY

Provides oversight, leadership and achievement of results for multiple Retail Donation Centers (RDC) for Goodwill of San Francisco Bay (GSFB) and its affiliated entities. Directs all aspects of daily operations; leading the team and driving the business. Provides leadership and general management skills for both short and long-term success. Key responsibilities include operations, financial management, human resources, and Team Member training & development. Builds and retains motivated high performing teams through effective leadership of line management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes operations plan to achieve required targeted growth in daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for Retail Donation Center’s (RDC’s).

  • Ensures payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.

  • Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.

  • Works to de-escalate customer situations while finding an appropriate solution.

  • Coordinates with the Retail leadership to analyze, identify and execute strategic goals and objectives.

  • Ensures locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.

  • Maintains the day-to-day operations of multiple RDC sites including managing and meeting team member and customer needs.

  • Ensures that team members are operating per company standards and procedures relating to Security, Health and Safety; influences any changes necessary to meet statutory requirements, ensuring minimum risk to team members and the business.

  • Partners with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Ensures that RDC Team Members are well-trained and fulfill their duties and responsibilities.

  • Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

  • Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of RDC Team Members.

  • Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.

  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years supervisory experience required

  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to travel within the Bay Area to various donation sites daily.

  • Valid drivers' license and clean MVR

  • Ability to pass a background check, where applicable for position
