As a Management Consulting Manager at Clarkston, you will:

• Play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery and follow-through of all client assignments as well as the leadership, direction, and development of consulting project teams
  
• Facilitate the direction of client engagements, effectively manage the team, and long-term relationships with clients to help them achieve their improvement goals
• Get involved with Consulting Delivery, Business Development, Practice Development, and Team Development
• Beyond client project work, you will contribute to the development of new clients, delivery of presentations to executives, and creation of thought leadership

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

An ideal Management Consulting Manager candidate would have the following qualifications and experience:

• Over five years of post-MBA, professional experience with a management consulting firm
• Demonstrated experience advising clients in the creation of business strategies, long-range plans, business transformations, or turnaround situations; ability to analyze current external and internal, macro and micro factors, synthesize findings, and guide the development of recommendations and actionable strategies is required.
• Deep expertise in the life sciences, consumer products and/or retail industry
• Prior experience in business strategy and development, consulting sales, client service, client development process, service delivery processes, market and service offering development, and demonstrated effective follow-through against strategic business plans
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills and prior demonstrated ability to grow and manage an enthusiastic and quality-driven team. Excellent understanding of how to lead and execute in an apprenticeship professional services model
• Outstanding communication, presentation, writing, and leadership skills as well as the ability to develop proposals, project deliverables, and analyses in an articulate and professional manner
• Ability to gain credibility with C-Level & BOD executives and senior leaders in the organization
• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university

Travel Requirement

Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 30-50%. This may vary based upon client and project needs. When not traveling, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.
