THE JOB:
The Senior Manager of Compensation will support annual processes including annual equity, merit increases, annual general increases (AGI), as well as various incentive programs.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Manage projects from concept through implementation.
Develop analytical summaries, reports, and presentations, and make recommendations and presentations to stakeholders.
Identify and establish productive relationships with management and peers across divisions and properties.
Model and reinforce internal and external service excellence by demonstrating best practices.
Advise management on Corporate Compensation policies and procedures, state and federal wage and hour regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, such as Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Title VII.
Partner with Human Resources, Finance, COEs, and business leaders to ensure accurate and timely completion of all projects.
Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to team and stakeholders.
Identify risks and develop a risk mitigation strategy to redirect the project back on target.
Develop project timelines and detailed workplans, including team members and resources needed.
Collaborate with the Compensation Analytics Team to implement and communicate mass wage changes in accordance with corporate guidelines and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
Create and maintain a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; establish and communicate priorities, set performance objectives, provide direction, and hold staff accountable.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of prior relevant experience in a compensation, analytical and/or project related position.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of Federal wage & hour laws.
Able to work business hours on Pacific Standard Time zone.
