About the role:
Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition for Global Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) at the Director level to join our organization. GTA is a newly formed function within Takeda Human Resources brought together to position Takeda’s future success by strengthening our Talent attraction and retention engine, while adopting Innovative and Leading Talent Acquisition practices. The ideal candidate will be strategic and experienced in delivering best in class TA processes and experiences globally.
The Head of TA for DD&T will report into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition for Corporate Functions & DD&T. DD&T has over 1500 employees across approximately 20 countries, and this position will assume a pivotal role in shaping the talent landscape globally, while ensuring the recruitment and retention of top-tier talent is intricately aligned with Takeda’s overarching business imperatives. This position is responsible for all end-to-end hiring, the employee value proposition, and the business talent strategy to support attraction and retention of talents for this organization globally. This role serves as a key strategic partner to drive the deployment of consistent employer brand strategy, and standardization of talent acquisition processes, programs and policies. Furthermore, this position leads the relationship with the RPO vendors to ensure that TA processes and service delivery deliver on the needs of DD&T across multiple markets and countries.
How you will contribute:
Provide strategic insights and partnerships with Global DD&T, HR Business Leads, and Global Talent Acquisition teams to define and drive talent acquisition strategy globally
Provide strong and diverse internal and external talent pipelines for critical roles across DD&T globally, through pro-active succession pipeline building, and ongoing talent relationship management
Leverage technology solutions that will impact efficiency and effectiveness of TA creating an experience for all stakeholders impacted giving Takeda a competitive advantage amidst the changing marketplace
Lead & Manage the hiring process for critical executive level roles
Coordinate regional resources for aligned support of global and/or multi-region hiring needs across DD&T
Deploy employer branding strategies in alignment with Takeda’s corporate brand standards and ensure standard application of the global employment brand
Deliver operational excellence on key performance indicators such as Time to Hire, Cost per hire, Quality of hire. Provides insights on recruitment effectiveness by measuring and reporting key metrics to relevant stakeholders. Uses data and analytics to underpin the recruitment service delivery and to champion continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure best fit TA delivery model, ensuring TA and TA RPO partners are set up for success and can flex and scale into Takeda’s changing TA environment.
Hires, manages, develops and provides thoughtful leadership to a team of world class internal and RPO TA Partner resources.
Ensure partnership, strategies, and alignments with appropriate functions regarding workforce planning, on-boarding, talent development, and DEI
Provides thought leadership & market insights as a member of the Corporate Functions & DD&T Leadership team.
