Description

Being a Bilingual Residential Children and Youth Enrichment Specialist at HAWC you will be developing, implementing, and coordinating enrichment activities and programs at the Flagship Campus for child survivors or witnesses of domestic violence.

 

Your Schedule:

  • Full Time
  • Monday - Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • Flexibility to work one Saturday per month
  • Work Model: 100% onsite
  • Local Travel: 5%

 

Our Total Compensation Package:

  • Hourly Compensation: $17.02 hourly
  • Pay schedule semi-monthly

Qualifications

The Requirements We are Seeking:

  • High School Diploma with an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree

OR

  • Associate’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Criminal Justice, or similar social science.
  • A minimum of one year of experience creating and facilitating lesson plans to school-age children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish, able to read, speak, and write fluently in both languages.
  • You have a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing personal transportation.
  • Current First Aid- CPR required
  • Childhood Development Certificate preferred.
