Description

 

This is a benefited, Part time position (48 hours every 2 weeks) working 8-hr varied shifts ( 0745-1615, 0800-1630 or 830-1700) . No weekends or holidays. Located at Scripps Clinic Encinitas. Preferred training schedule is 4 days per week.

Bonus available to eligible new hires in the amount of $2K.

What you'll do: 

  • The majority of this position is working in Epic, inbasket messaging and triaging, but will also place IVs for Definity and perform stress echocardiograms. 
  • Demonstrate compassionate care during patient assessments and care tasks, including medication administration as appropriate, all completed over the phone (phone triaging and education).
  • Work the inbaskets/messages for the entire shift.
  • Learn about cardiac devices, stress tests, triaging, and read device alerts.
  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provide patient care including:
    • compliance with patient assessments and care tasks
    • triaging
    • completion of clinical procedures
    • emergency protocols and medication administration
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

  • Internal candidates​
  • Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago​
  • New Graduates (Must have at least 1 year of experience)

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

•    Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

•    Must remain in original department/specialty

•    Must remain in original Job title

•    Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
