Software Developer

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a full-time, .Net Full-Stack Developer based in our Lexington, KY facility. This role will report directly to the AVP - Keyscan and work closely with the software development team. The .Net Full-Stack Developer is responsible for implementing and designing user interfaces of web-based and desktop applications as well as backend services and databases.

 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Full-stack development of new products and maintenance development of existing products
• Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly alignment meetings
• Work with team leads and product managers to plan and assign work task
• Collaborate with the technical support team when troubleshooting issues on released software
• Partner with other software and firmware teams on cross-functional and cross-team products

 

 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• University or College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field of study
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development & design
• Understanding of a multi-tiered architecture
• Visual Studio 2022 IDE
  • C#, VB.NET
  • Desktop development using WPF
  • ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS3, Javascript, JSON, XML
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Stored Procedures
  • Entity Framework
  • ASP.NET Web API
  • .NET Framework 4.x
  • .NET 7 and .NET 6
  • Agile/Scrum process and applied software development best practices

 

 

WHAT WE PREFER

• Visual Studio 2022 IDE
  • Telerik UI Component Suite experience is an asset
  • Blazor/Razor/Angular is an asset

 

• DevOps
  • Azure DevOps experience preferred.
  • Atlassian Jira/Bitbucket/Confluence experience is an asset
  • xUnit/nUnit is an asset
