Description
The Warner School at the University of Rochester welcomes applicants for an Adjunct Instructor position. The appointment begins January 20, 2026 and ends May 10, 2026. This is a short-term position and will teach the 3-credit course " EDU 465-1 - Assessment and Appraisal" for the Spring 2026 academic session.
Course Description:
Explores the fundamentals of selecting, administering, interpreting, and presenting tests as a component of the diagnostic and counseling process. Includes discussions of the principles of measurement; an examination of intelligence, career, personality, and other test instruments; rationale for test selection; guidelines for test administration; and ethical use of appraisal in decision making and treatment planning.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a record of excellence in both teaching and practice. Experience with online instruction and Blackboard is desired. Applicant must have a master’s degree in a related field and the ability to teach courses at the graduate level.
