JOB SUMMARY
Role and responsibility of clinical staff job description. Responsible for direct patient care and multidisciplinary team support for all oncology patients at inpatient units and SCCC outpatient infusion sites. Clinical pharmacy staff pharmacist PRN covering oncology patients. The roles and responsibilities includes but not limited to: reviewing new clinical trial protocols for scientific review, working with multidisciplinary teams, develop clinical guidelines/protocols, support clinical staff pharmacists, transitions of care coordination as needed, regulatory compliance monitoring, presentations, quality improvement projects, precepting residents and students, etc.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required

• Education
  Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or
  Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an American College of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school of pharmacy

• Experience
  1 year with experience in a hospital setting required for an inpatient position

• Licenses and Certifications
  Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) is required and Texas license with TSBP Upon Hire 
  Texas license with TSBP within 30 days of date of hire 
  (ACPE-IV) STERILE COMPOUNDING (IV) CERT Sterile compounding (IV) certification accredited by ACPE Upon Hire 
  (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification with course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire
  ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) will be required for inpatient positions within 180 Days
