JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides comprehensive health care to patients in various states of health or illness in collaboration with one or more physicians using guidelines agreed upon with physicians. This position is a hybrid of inpatient (10-hour days) and outpatient (8-hour days). On inpatient days you will be rounding with the team and completing consults, wound care, discharges for the service. On outpatient days you will be completing new patient visits, office visits, follow ups, post-ops and pre-ops.
EDUCATION:
Registered nurse who has successfully completed formal education program approved by the Vermont Board of Nursing, or state or national accrediting agency which prepares nurses to function in advanced nursing practice. Must also be certified by national certifying agency recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience as a nurse practitioner desired.
