JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Education Abroad (EA) office within Penn State Global at University Park is hiring a Content Creation Assistant to join our team beginning in the fall 2024 semester. The Content Creation Assistant will report to the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator on the Education Abroad Advising and Engagement team. The successful candidate will complete duties in-person on the University Park campus. The Content Creation Assistant is a part-time (10-15 hours per week) paid position in the EA office. The anticipated start date for this role is late August 2024 (during the first week of the Penn State fall semester). In-office hours will be mandatory.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
The candidate selected for the Content Creation Assistant position will be responsible for:
- Designing social media posts, table signs, flyers, posters, and various other types of photo- and video-centric media that relay to students concise, useful information about their Education Abroad options at Penn State
- Creating video reels or other short-form content from self-generated and student-generated clips
- Capturing multimedia (mostly photo and video) content at events EA hosts or attends
- Supporting engagement of Penn State Education Abroad social media accounts with other vetted accounts through joint/cross posts, tagging, commenting, sharing, et
