Cloud Developer Advisor

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and a proven track record of advising and leading cloud development projects.

HOW A CLOUD DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions.
● Provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture and best practices.

● Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud-based solutions.

● Optimize and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability.

● Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.

● Assist in the development of cloud governance and security policies.

● Mentor and train junior developers on cloud technologies and best practices.

● Support the migration of existing applications to cloud environments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required

Required Skills and Abilities

● Proven experience as a Cloud Developer or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.

● Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

● Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and security practices.

● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

● Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

● Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

● Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

The likely salary range for this position is $122,774 - $166,106. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
