Head of Merchandising, Vans Americas Region: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
This leader will drive marketplace strategies across wholesale and DTC, focusing on curated assortments and demand-driving features. They will be the guardian of the global brand position from a product perspective. The Head of Merchandising will be responsible for partnering with regional planning to meet financial goals, analyzing market capacity and consumer trends, collaborating with regional market teams to bring regional campaigns to life & with global merchandising to maintain global brand position at the regional level.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Regional Marketplace strategy (including defining white space opportunities) across wholesale and DTC
Develop and manage regional line architecture and assortment strategies. Set in-region pricing (with global guidelines). Balance mono-brand and multi-brand environments to align with brand and market objectives.
Provide feedback on prototypes, based on consumer feedback / local needs.
Provide input on marketplace execution and manage capacity. Work with regional planning to deliver financial targets. In-region final promo and markdown decision (within global guidelines/strategy).
Monitor and code consumer demand trends, using insights to shape planning and assortment decisions. Ad hoc reporting / analysis to support seasonal product decision-making.
Responsible to identify and drive regional relevance in SMU, incremental Capsules etc. including assortment definition, segmentation, customer specific initiatives, and align need
