Develop project-based curriculum for younger youth and oversee its implementation
Train Project Facilitators to effectively implement project-based learning activities
Train Work Readiness Facilitator to effectively implement curriculum
Develop work readiness curriculum for older youth
Create project-based learning summary for younger youth work readiness training using Microsoft PowerPoint and lead one-hour training
Schedule project-based learning activities
Arrange for guest speakers, as applicable
Work closely with Counselors to address academic barriers youth may be facing and work with youth to resolve them
Assist youth with college application process and form linkages with colleges
Participate in weekly meetings with Program Director and Job Developer
Assist Project Developer in the coordination of culminating event
Other related duties as assigned


COMPETENCIES


Minimum of three years related experience working in the field of youth development
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Must be able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, set and meet deadlines; strong communication & writing skills
Prior experience developing and facilitating project-based activities preferred
Proficiency in MS Office
