*PEDIATRIC OUTPATIENT POSITION* The staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for directing, modifying and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the Director of Rehabilitation Services. Administer treatments and physical agents after evaluating the patient’s needs. Assist patient to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
General Responsibilities:
Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, and employment status of Bradley Medical Center’s patients, families and employees.
Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients.
Must report hazards and initiate appropriate action.
Must participate in safety instructional programs.
Must attend annual employment education.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
Experience: Previous experience in all aspects of Occupational Therapy preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Tennessee. Current CPR certification.
