Spring & Summer 2024 Graphics Design Intern

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Spring & Summer 2024 Graphics Design Intern to join our team of proposal professionals who work together on business development opportunities in support of some of the largest U.S. Federal agencies.

We provide our customers with the opportunity to offer practical, remote, and contemporary cooperative learning opportunities to students all over the world. We assist with powering ideas, implementing management solutions, managing media, and providing support and creative direction to the consumer-facing image of our clients.

 

This program is geared toward rising sophomore and junior college students who are actively enrolled at a four-year university and have declared their major and completed qualified coursework.

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize proposal graphics and create/edit high-end graphics
• Develop graphical covers that represent the company brand
• Ensure all graphics are consistent within the proposal and with the company brand
• Interact with Proposal Managers to determine resource and procedural requirements
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure latest graphics are included in the proposal
• Attend and participate in kickoff, daily status and review meetings
• Assist with color reviews as required
• Produce oral presentations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in graphic or web design, data visualization, GIS, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
• Proven graphic designing experience and familiarity with graphic design tools like the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator), as well as Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous hands-on internship experience with Adobe suite and other relevant graphic design tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency using Microsoft office.
• An ideal candidate would be a rising junior or senior.

Target Salary Range

The rate / range per hour below represents the typical pay for this position based on experience and other factors.
