Job Overview:
The Video Production Engineer supports the LPL Production AVP and produces virtual events, hybrid events, and recording sessions from the LPL Studio on the Fort Mill campus. This role also edits video content for live events and on‑demand distribution to employees and LPL advisors.
Responsibilities:
Operate cameras during live events and recording sessions, including framing and shot composition
Design and execute graphics and motion elements for live and recorded content
Perform live video switching for virtual and hybrid events
Design, set up, adjust, and maintain studio lighting configurations
Engineer and monitor audio for live events and recording sessions
Operate teleprompters, presentation decks, and Q&A platforms during events
Manage and operate streaming platforms used for virtual events
Serve as Producer for virtual events as assigned, coordinating technical execution
Edit video content for live events and on‑demand viewing using Adobe Premier
Administer and maintain software platforms supporting virtual events
Partner with business stakeholders and event organizers to execute event requirements

Requirements:
5+ years of professional video production experience
5+ years of experience with studio lighting and/or audio recording
2+ years of experience producing virtual events
Experience supporting senior leadership during high‑profile events
Core Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences
Preferences:
Video studio production background
Experience configuring and operating virtual event platforms
Video editing experience with Adobe Premier
Financial services or brokerage firm experience
Experience with Blackmagic Design technology
Pay Range:
