Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data analysis, data visualization, and data management. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical methods to support data analysis.
Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to communicate data findings effectively.
Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization software to present data insights to stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality checks and validation processes.
Manage and maintain databases, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data needs and deliver insights.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Utilize programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R to perform data analysis and automate processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.
Experience managing databases and leading ETL processes for clients in multiple fields.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, including working with JSON and Azure SQL Database.
Experience with anti-fraud measures and certifications such as CTIA and R2.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools and creating interactive dashboards and data models.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.
Experience with scripting software to automate recurring tasks.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
Familiarity with Airflow and DBT for data workflow management.
Experience with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
Strong background in providing quantitative and qualitative analysis for business standardization and process improvement.
Proven track record of using APM to increase communication and visibility within operations.
Demonstrated ability to apply process improvements and best practices using takt time analysis and standardized KPIs.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis.
