Technical Data Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data analysis, data visualization, and data management. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical methods to support data analysis.

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to communicate data findings effectively.

• Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization software to present data insights to stakeholders.

• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality checks and validation processes.

• Manage and maintain databases, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data needs and deliver insights.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Utilize programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R to perform data analysis and automate processes.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.

• Experience managing databases and leading ETL processes for clients in multiple fields.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, including working with JSON and Azure SQL Database.

• Experience with anti-fraud measures and certifications such as CTIA and R2.

• Knowledge of business intelligence tools and creating interactive dashboards and data models.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.

• Experience with scripting software to automate recurring tasks.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.

• Familiarity with Airflow and DBT for data workflow management.

• Experience with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.

• Strong background in providing quantitative and qualitative analysis for business standardization and process improvement.

• Proven track record of using APM to increase communication and visibility within operations.

• Demonstrated ability to apply process improvements and best practices using takt time analysis and standardized KPIs.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis.
