WORKING TITLE: GOVERNMENT ANALYST I

This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Region 1 Office.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

 

JOB DUTIES:

  • Report Preparation and Review: Prepare and review detailed reports for Regional Leadership and command level staff, providing information on inmates, staff, and institutional actions in response to incidents.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze statistical data on selected topics, identify pertinent trends, and prepare reports with recommendations to address issues and ensure compliance with Department of Corrections' policy.
  • Correspondence and Research: Review correspondence and inquiries, conduct necessary research, and prepare responses or positions on various matters.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist with monitoring institutional compliance with operational standards, required inspections, and reports to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Special Projects: Accept and manage special projects, preparing necessary materials to ensure successful resolution of issues.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
