Job Description

Minimum of 15+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in the investment products domain, specifically with extensive exposure to Hedge Funds, Equities, Swaps, and Derivatives.
Deep Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle, valuation, risk characteristics, and operational aspects of a wide range of investment instruments.o Data Modeling Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex data models for financial instruments and investment portfolios, including relational databases (SQL, Cloudera, Oracle), NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts.
o Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development principles, system architecture, and data integration patterns.
o Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
o Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
o Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with business users, developers, and other stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with specific financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, BlackRock Aladdin).
o Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., FIX, FpML).
o Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
o Prior experience in a FinTech, Investment Bank, or software product company."
