The Office of Juvenile Justice is seeking a detailed Administrative Coordinator 4 to assist the Human Resources Division with timekeeping, payroll coordination, and daily administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced HR environment.
As an Administrative Coordinator 4, you’ll help ensure accurate payroll processing, support staff with timekeeping guidance, and maintain essential HR documentation. You’ll also provide front-office support, assist with applicant processing, and contribute to smooth daily operations within the HR Division.

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties:Manages timekeeping and payroll actions — collects and processes timesheets, audits payroll records, creates prior-period adjustments, and ensures accurate entries for timely payment.
Supports compliance with payroll standards — follows agency policy, state and federal guidelines, and Office of State Uniform Payroll standards for time entry and reporting.
Provides guidance to staff — trains employees and timekeepers on CATS, eCertification, LEO, and manual LA Gov HCM entry; assists with troubleshooting timekeeping issues.
Generates payroll reports — prepares reports to identify discrepancies, conducts full payroll audits each pay period, and forwards files for HR review and certification.
Performs general administrative support — answers calls, routes visitors, processes paperwork, performs clerical tasks, manages mail, and operates standard office equipment.
Supports hiring processes — administers applicant testing, assists with pre-employment checks, creates personnel files, and maintains HR documentation.
Completes additional duties — assists with special projects, attends required training, and performs other tasks as assigned.
Work Location: This vacancy is located at Jetson Center for Youth in Baker, Louisiana.
