Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and executing the talent acquisition strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top talent for Hamilton Company, Hamilton Medical, and Hamilton Storage.  This corporate level role is responsible for developing the team’s vision and strategy while also handling day-to-day planning and execution of talent acquisition processes while collaborating with department heads and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. They will also focus on building a strong employer brand and implementing innovative recruitment practices.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and create effective recruitment plans.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates while identifying and implementing processes improvement to improve efficiency and effectiveness of activities.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand through various channels, including social media, job boards, and career fairs.
  • Develop and utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by providing timely and constructive feedback throughout the recruitment process.
  • Responsible for community partnerships (College/University, Hospital Organizations, Scientific Community) to strengthen workforce technical competencies and build recruitment pipelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and implement innovative approaches.
  • Assist with development, administration, and execution of the affirmative action program.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field from regionally accredited nonprofit college or university required.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Talent Acquisition and talent pipeline management with at least five (5) years leading the recruitment function required.
  • Proven experience in a senior talent acquisition role, with experience in Life Sciences, Medical Device, and Manufacturing environments required.
  • Proven experience recruiting executive level, engineering, scientific, and manufacturing roles.
